About Delta Ridge Roofing
Ray Delgado spent eleven years on other people's crews before starting this one. Four people, two trucks, and a shop off Mather Field Road.
Why this company exists
Ray got tired of being handed a roof that had already been sold badly — the layover someone talked a homeowner into, the deck nobody looked at, the quote that grew by two thousand dollars on the Wednesday. Delta Ridge exists to do it the other way round: look first, say the real number, then build it.
The crew has not changed much since 2014. Two of them have been with Ray since the first year. That is deliberate — roofing is a trade you get good at slowly, and a company that rebuilds its crew every season never gets good at it at all.
We stay inside Sacramento County and the near foothills on purpose. If we cannot get back to your house in half an hour to look at something, we should not have sold you the roof.
What we are actually trying to do
Be the roofer people call back in year eight
Most roofing companies in this county are built to sell you one roof. We would rather sell you one roof, do it properly, and then be the number you still have in your phone when your neighbour asks who did it.
Practically, that means turning down work we should not take, telling people their roof has five years left when it does, and eating the cost of a mistake rather than arguing about it. It is a slower way to grow and it is the only version of this business worth running.

The quote is itemised and it is the price
Tear-off, material, flashing, vents, disposal and the per-sheet rate for deck replacement, all listed separately. The only line that can move afterwards is the decking, and only for boards you have seen marked with your own eyes.

One crew, and you know who is on your roof
Nothing is handed off to a subcontractor mid-job. Ray is on site for the tear-off and the dry-in on every single roof, not just the big ones.

We show you the deck before we cover it
Photographs of the bare sheathing with every soft board marked, before a single shingle goes down. You approve the decking charge looking at the evidence for it.

Two magnet passes and a photo set
Your yard gets swept twice with a rolling magnet, because a nail in a tyre is the thing people remember about a re-roof. You get photographs of the bare deck, the dry-in and the finished roof.

We answer the phone in year three
Staying local is what makes that possible. If something we installed is doing something it should not, call and we will come look at it.
